Georgetown: A Pictorial

We often hear the phrase “that’s so Seattle”.  But Seattle isn’t just the eternally gray, coffee-swilling, tech hub that grunge built the rest of the country identifies us as. As residents here know, our city is made up of small diverse communities, each with their own civic issues, surprises and “best of’s”.

We here at STACKEDD want to take the time to celebrate the individual pockets of specialness that make up the Emerald City, and we figured it makes sense we should start with Seattle’s first settled community, Georgetown. Shot during the Holiday Art Attack, this pictorial by Niffer Calderwood showcases how “Seattle’s Oldest Neighborhood” celebrates with style. We hope your enjoy our Georgetown coverage- MDL

Special thanks to Georgetown Merchant Association Executive Director Emilie Shepherd for her assitance with this piece.
