You might think being a Bassist/Vocalist/Pianist in the Spider Ferns would have filled Kelly Fleek’s proverbial creative plate, but she also creates works in the tactile forms of mixed media on canvas as well as via fabric and knits as well as lending an artistic eye to the band’s videos. To showcase her wide range of talents we’ve put together a mini multi-media showcase of Kelly’s music and art and she’s chosen specific physical works to accompany music off the band’s latest release, Soon Enough.
If you’d like to experience the warm, downtempo ambience of the Spider Ferns first-hand they will be playing several dates throughout the summer including this weekend’s Fisherman’s Village Festival in Everett. Enjoy!
